Which one is better: 32 bit or 64 bit Windows?
Technology is moving and growing fastly, In earlier times we have 32 bit and after some years we have 64 bit. So if your system have below 4 GB RAM then I’ll recommend you to use a 32 bit OS or if you have more than 4 GB RAM in your system then definitely use a 64 bit OS.
OK, Let me explain it.
32 bit :- It is usually best for those systems which has less than 4 GB of RAM, Because it will run your system faster. And if you install 64 bit OS on a system whose RAM is under 4 GB then it will definitely run it but you’ll notice a high amount of RAM consumption compared to the 32 bit OS. It has a restriction of 4 GB of RAM, Means you can only use 4 GB of maximum RAM. So if you want to install more than 4 GB then it will not use it. (Theoretically, it has the restriction of 4 GB, But the actual and practically restriction is of 3.76 GB)
64 bit :- It is today’s most used OS type, You can maximum install up to 128 GB or beyond of RAM and your 64 bit OS will use all of it. It is much faster when compared to 32 bit OS. Specially designed for Multitasking, You’ll get the full benefit of your RAM. In Earlier time it was very hard t get 64 bit system drivers, But today’s it is become a normal thing. There is also a advantage that you can install and use 32 bit software’s on 64 bit OS, But you also can’t use 16 bit programs in it which you can use only in 32 bit OS. You can only run 64 bit OS on your system when your processor is also 64 bit.
