How can I reset my Windows OS password?

So, basically you forgot your password, and now you want to Reset it. Don't worry, I'll help you.

Let's start:

>Things you need:

• Windows OS DVD/flashdive, or Windows System Repair Disk;

>Procedure:

1. Firstly, insert your Bootable installation media and turn your lappy ON and immediately press “F12” or “Delete” key to enter into your BIOS. Then in Boot options and select your Installation media and press Enter.
2. Now, when you’ll reach to Welcome screen then click on “Repair Windows”

 3.  Then you’ll see various options to repair your Windows, but you’ll have to select “Command Prompt” by clicking on it.

4. Now type exactly this what I’m writing here “net user “type your username here” “your new password”

5. Now press “Enter” and If you’ll see this message “The command completed successfully” then you’re done. Now, type “exit” and press “Enter” to exit and Reboot your Computer.

7. Now your password is successfully Reset and you just have to login with your new password.
